Leica III rangefinder 35mm film black paint camera. Serial #128752. Made in Germany in 1933. Use all Leica M39x1 screw mount lenses. Could also use Leica Copies lenses, like Cosina-Voigtlander, Canon RF, Nikkor LSM lenses and others. Shutter speeds are: 1sec -1/500 split on two dials at 1/20 and B,T. Good working shutter. Camera is in Ex or 8 out of 10 cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Top cover is fairly good with a few small scratches. Bottom plate has some small scratches & marks. Original vulcanite cover in good condition, with no missing pieces. Camera has been recently CLA'D best as possible in November 2024, and is in good working order. Bright and contrasty viewfinder. Good working Rangefinder with bright and contrast "second" image. Film advance is smooth. Original take up spool. Leitz Lens chart booklet in "German", Leitz WINTU right angle viewfinder, and a Leitz brass35mm reloadable film cassette with cannister. Leica NICKEL Elmar 5cm f/3.5 collapsible lens. Serial #261375. Circa 1935. Focusing from 1 meter or 3.28 feet. Distance scale is in meters. Aperture from f/3.5 to f/18. Non-coated glass. Cosmetic condition is Ex or 8 out of 10. No dents or dings. Clean glass. No fungus or separation. Smooth and clean aperture blades. Smooth focusing. Working infinity lock. This camera is in overall very decent condition for the age.
